ANDREW HARRISON BROWN
FOUNDER + FILMMAKER
Andrew has traveled the world telling the stories of cultures often overlooked and under-appreciated. As a humanitarian, Andrew stumbled into a film career while working with numerous non-profit organizations. Through this experience, he witnessed how stories told through images transcended barriers and acted as levers for change. Andrew approaches documentary filmmaking with a desire to be genuinely interested in the people involved before trying to create a uniquely interesting story.
Most recently, seeing the need for a more honest conversation around wildlife conservation, Andrew discovered the characters & world behind the feature documentary film, WHEN LAMBS BECOME LIONS (directed by Emmy award winning Jon Kasbe, Executive Produced by Oscar nominated Matt Heineman, Cartel Land, City of Ghosts); which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. He spent 16 months fostering the relationships in the field that it took to create the film's approach.
In 2014, he successfully crowd-funded the initial production funds needed to begin production and then recruited director Jon Kasbe to join him in creating the story.
